PARTNERSHIPS & NETWORK CONTRACTS:
[23/08/2010] - ZTE has announced a contract with Telenor Hungary to provide the company with radio and core infrastructure over the next five years. ZTE will switch, expand and operate the network and deploy over 6,000 base stations, including LTE eNodeBs throughout the country.
[09/08/2010] - ZTE says that it has deployed a LTE network for Uzbekistan mobile operator UCell - a subsidiary of TeliaSonera - in the capital city, Tashkent.
[03/06/2010] - China's Z�TE says that it has signed a contract with Canada's Public Mobile to build a commercial CDMA network in Canada. The network is designed to provide mobile service to 19 million potential customers across the Canadian provinces of Ontario and Quebec.
[12/05/2010] - ­Malaysian WiMAX network operator, Packet One Networks (P1) has awarded a full turnkey contract for its Phase III network expansion to China's ZTE. The contract worth US$76 million will see ZTE deploy P1 W1MAX network including network planning and design, equipment supply, engineering services and WiMAX network optimisation to cover 65% of the Malaysian population by 2012.
[26/04/2010] - ZTE has been chosen by China Mobile to deliver its IMS core network in key Chinese provinces. The China Mobile's commercial IMS network will boast 1.4 million lines when completed in three months.
[21/04/2010] - Brazilian mobile network operator, Vivo has started selling a ZTE supplied mobile phone that incorporates a Mobile TV receiver. Available exclusively through Vivo, the mobile phone will be available in Rio de Janeiro and São Paulo. It will shortly be launched across other Brazilian cities, where Digital TV signals have recently been made available.
